It’s been a long time since we saw some knitting around here! So here’s my Rosa cardigan, finished last August. The pattern is by Along with Anna: it was my first pattern from this designer and I found it very fun to make, with clear instructions. It’s a very easy pattern that I would recommend for a first cardigan: knitted seamlessly from top to bottom, with a simple lace detail at the raglan. I really like the shape of the neckline which allows it to be worn open, as opposed to a round neck cardigan whose corners always flop down…
It’s a good thing I sew, because if I had to count on knitting projects only to fill this blog, we’d still have a long way to go: I started this cardigan last May, which means it took me a little less than a year to finish it! It is not such a big project, and with US6/7 needles it knits up pretty quickly, but I am very irregular in my knitting habits. I still managed to finish it in time for Spring and I’m glad because it is great!
