It’s been a while since I posted here, for lack of time but especially motivation. However, I have sewn a lot since last November, and I’m a little disappointed not to have this archive of my projects. So I’m taking advantage of the release of the Dressed e-book (which took us so much energy – I’m can’t even tell you how relieved I am that it is finally out!) to do a recap of the projects of this book that I sewn for myself. Be warned, it will be a long read!
Today’s project is not a fail in itself: a top-notch pattern (if I say so myself), a fabric with great drape, a print I love, and a pretty good result altogether. But getting a garment right on paper doesn’t always mean you’ll actually wear it!
If I had to choose only one pattern to sew and wear during the summer, it would definitely be the Goji shorts! Their short length and wide legs are perfect for dealing with the hot and humid summers in North Carolina, and I find them more flattering than classic shorts on pear silhouettes like mine.
