I haven’t been writing here as regularly as I had hoped to do, and yet I have many projects I would like to show you. Unfortunately, ever since I came back from my trip it has barely stopped raining: no way to get enough daylight to take proper pictures. Last Sunday I thought it was getting better, but as I was walking out the door, camera in hand, the rain started pouring again. Whatever, my blow-dry was ruined already so I went anyway…

As I was saying in my previous post, in addition to sewing the crew neck version (version A) of the Zéphyr dress, one of the new Deer&Doe patterns, I also made version B. It’s my favorite variation of the pattern, with this slightly curved V neckline that I find gorgeous 🙂
Here is is, the new spring-summer 2016 collection from Deer&Doe! This collection is very special to me because it is the first since I started working with Eléonore 🙂 Even though she is the one who does all the pattern design, I was closely involved with the creation process and I am pretty overwhelmed by what a warm welcome the patterns have been getting! Anyways, I love these patterns, so much that I managed to snatch a little free time in between sewing prototypes for the photoshoot and working on the new website to make my own versions! February is flying like crazy and I still haven’t found time to finish my Trello tutorial! I really hope I can do that soon… In the meantime I took out my camera tripod last weekend to snap a few pictures of the Belladone dress I made last Fall.
Happy new year! I hope you had a great new year’s eve and that you are as enthusiastic about 2016 as I am! As usual, I have several dozens of resolutions for the new year. One that involves this blog is that I’d like to get better at posting about my finished projects. Right now, I have a handful of dresses in my sewing room closet that are still waiting to be photographed, some I made over a year ago! The one I’m sharing today was finished last April.
